Mission

Leadership for Healthy Communities is a national initiative that supports government leaders as they create policies that reduce childhood obesity by promoting active living, healthy eating and access to healthy foods.

Goals

  • Create tools and materials to help leaders implement active living and healthy eating strategies.
  • Facilitate cooperative efforts between state and local leaders.
